PITTSTON, Pa. — SendCutSend, Inc., a maker of custom laser-cut and CNC-machined metal parts, will invest $63.2 million to open its first Pennsylvania manufacturing facility in Pittston, creating 309 new jobs over the next three years.
The company will lease and improve roughly 200,000 square feet of manufacturing space at 535 Research Drive in Luzerne County for CNC machining and laser cutting. SendCutSend says the site will bring one-day shipping to more of its customers in the Northeast. The Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development offered the company a $3 million Pennsylvania First grant, and the state encouraged it to apply for manufacturing tax credits. Pennsylvania competed against Ohio for the project.
