MAT Industries Adds 85 Jobs With Another Expansion in Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — MAT Industries will expand its manufacturing operations at 213 Industrial Drive in Jackson, creating an additional 85 jobs, Gov. Bill Lee and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development announced Oct. 29. The expansion adds a new production line to raise capacity and output at the plant, which makes air compressors and air brake tanks.

The state describes the announcement as the next phase of an ongoing project. In June 2025, MAT announced 30 new jobs and a $9 million investment at the same facility. The release does not disclose an investment figure or a timeline for this phase. MAT Industries is a subsidiary of MAT Holdings and is headquartered in Long Grove, Ill.
