RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. — ClearFlow Metalworks will invest $28 million to establish an aluminum manufacturing operation in Logan County, creating 50 new full-time jobs, Gov. Andy Beshear announced Oct. 30. The company will occupy a newly built speculative building in the Shelton Lane Industrial Park, its first U.S. facility.

Phase I is a secondary aluminum billet casting facility with an estimated capacity of about 100,000 tons a year, turning recycled aluminum into billets for extrusion and other uses. In June, the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority preliminarily approved a 15-year, performance-based agreement under the Kentucky Business Investment program. It can provide up to $1,000,500 in tax incentives, tied to creating and keeping 50 Kentucky-resident full-time jobs paying an average of $30 an hour, including benefits.
